FAQ - Pickle Related

Ofcourse. All pickles are made using high quality ingredients and spices. No preservatives and artificial colours are used in the process.

The shelf life of pickles depends on the pickle type and the usage. Veg Pickles like Avakaya, Mavagaya, etc., prepared using oils, usually last for a year. Non-veg pickles and other pickles last for 3-4 months if they are stored in refrigerators or cold places.

Make sure the pickle is immersed in oil to the extent possible and should never allow water/air to touch the pickle. This results in developing fungus/bacterial that spoils the pickles quickly. Always use a dry spoon and make sure it is stored in a sealed, air-tight container.

PRECAUTIONS YOU SHOULD FOLLOW :

  • Store the pickle in a cold place.
  • Don’t open the lid unnecessarily.
  • Don’t drain out the oil in the pickle because oil helps the pickle to stay healthy.
  • Don’t use the wet spoon.
  • Don’t eat pickles daily.
  • If you want to store the pickle in any other container use glass /plastic boxes.
